Veneers can be a good choice when the original shape and color of your teeth is not ideal, or for fractured teeth and gaps. Some people have teeth that don’t respond well to whitening or bleaching, so in these situations, a porcelain veneer may be the best option.
Placing veneers is a two-step process. During the first appointment, we will take an impression of your teeth. During the second appointment, the teeth that will be treated will be buffed down a small amount to compensate for the added thickness of the veneers. The veneers will be bonded to the front of each tooth and will last for about 10-15 years.
Veneers are a faster solution to correcting imperfections in your teeth when you want an almost instant change in your smile and don’t want to wait for braces to move and shift your teeth.
